"Safe Space" is a discussion space reserved for parents of children with autism who feel the need to talk about their daily reality. This Canada-wide francophone service was created to open a space for sharing and communication in order to allow parents to freely discuss the various issues they have encountered following the diagnosis of their child(ren). Participants are invited to choose the topics they wish to discuss without judgment or taboo.

Facilitated by Marie-Claude Robitaille*, this group allows us to identify the needs and expectations related to the different aspects of autism, to exchange experiences and solutions, to gather available tools and to organize workshops on specific issues.
